At approximately 0100 hrs, the guys was just finishing up a map book drill when the box dropped for the intersection of Suitland parkway and forestville rd for the house on fire. The Engine and the Truck responded with 9 volunteers. The Engine from 27 was first arriving reporting a house fully involved. Since the house was of the road, surrounding companies set up the relay operation. Engine 371 layed out from the main road to the engine from 27, and 23 picked up our line. Engine company 37 helped 27 stretch a 600 ft leader line through the woods to get to the house and the Truck company provided long hooks and lights. Crews operated for 3 hrs before returning to service
