As the morning errands came to a close Company 37 along with other first and third Battalion units were alerted for a house on fire in the 2400 Block of Oak Glen Way in the Sunny Acres section of Ritchie. Engine 371 with 5 Volunteers arrived with a 1 story single family with Fire Showing from the basement.  The crew stretched the 150 bumper line thru the front door and made the interior steps. Fire was found involving a few rooms in the basement and was knocked down in minutes. Searches proved negative. There were 2 civilian injuries and both were transported to the Burn Unit in serious condition.
