6TH DUE TURNS INTO THIRD ARRVING

As the day was coming to an end a box was dropped for in the area of Addison Rd and Martin Luther King Hwy for the house on fire. Communications came back with a corrected address of 5925 Martin Luther King Hwy. Engine Company 37 was alerted 6Th due engine on the run, but arrived 3rd. Being that we were the third arriving Engine we took third due responsibilities. The lineman pulled the 250' 1.5 to the rear of the structure, where it was found to be fire showing. The company officer gave his report and the crew went to work on extinguishing the fire. After assisting other companies with extinguishing the fire command held Engines 331 and 381, Trucks 9 and 22, and Rescue Squad 8. The company returned to service 90 minutes later.
