Saturday, January 21, 2012 Just after 1630, Chief 37 (Wilson) and Engine 372 were alerted along with other units for a house fire in the 500 Blk of Brightseat Road. Units from 37 arrived first finding a single family dwelling with smoke showing. Chief 37 established command and the engine crew quickly stretched a line to the 2nd floor/attic of the home finding a small fire that was quickly extinguished. After the fire was knocked the crew was able to see how the attic space was converted into half storage and the other half being 2 sections off bedrooms with a makeshift bathroom. Units operated for under an hour before returning to service.
