TASK FORCE FIRE IN MARLBORO

At 1823 hrs Engine Company 37 was alerted for the transfer to company 45. Engine 372 took the transfer leaving Engine 373s crew back. Shortly after the engine got on the road a fire task force was struck for the 9100 block of Old Burton Cir. in Company 45s area. Engine 372 arrived on the scene and reported to command post. The engine crew was told to gain access to the second floor from the interior as the steps were burned away. The crew gained access and advanced and 2 inch stack tip to hit some hot spots that the other crews could not get from the exterior. The crew was held for extensive overhaul of the second floor. The engine left the scene just after 2100hrs. Engine 373 was transferred to Company 45 during the incident.
