FATAL MVC ON RITCHIE MARLBORO RD

August 15, 2014  As crews were cleaning up for the evening PSC dispatched a MVC with reported people trapped on Ritchie Marlboro Rd. at North Riding Rd. in our first due.  The Truck had just cleared a call in the area and was the first to arrive finding two people trapped and one patient had self extricated.

The Engine cleared the previous call they were on, once they arrived crews started extrication efforts along with patient care until the arrival of additional resources.  Unfortunately two patients succumbed to their injuries.  Crews remained on the scene for nearly three hours assisting police with accident reconstruction before returning to service.
