ENGINE CATCHES WORK IN SPRINGDALE AREA

August 28,2014 In the early morning hours a box alarm was dispatched to 10209 Thunderbird Ct. in Company 6’s area. First arriving units went on the scene with a working basement fire.  Engine 371 dispatched as the 4th due engine arrived and secured the water supply for the 3rd due company.  The crew stretched a back up line to the basement and assisted with checking for extension. The engine returned to service about 40 minutes later.
