TWELVE HOURS LATER THE TRUCK IS AT IT AGAIN
Just a short twelve hours after being on the working apartment fire in Morningside, the truck was dispatched to 2645 Shadyside ave. in Company 17’s area for an apartment fire. The truck was dispatched as the second due truck arriving on side “C” the crew ladder the rear of the building before being assigned RIT. The crew gathered the RIT equipment and completed a 360 of the building. While completing the 360 the crew re-position or added ladders and removed any egress obstructions such as bars on windows. The remained on the scene for about an hour before returning to service.
