ENGINE & CHIEF 37A RUN 20 HOUSE

Just prior to 8 pm on Christmas Eve, communications transmitted the box alarm for a reported townhouse on fire in the 4300 blk of Stockport Way (Company 20’s area). Engine 373 (2nd due) and chief 37a responded, with communications given several returns advising multiple calls. Engine 373 arrived, picking up Engine 845’s line and ran the 400’ attack line to the side a. Crews found a room on fire on the 1st floor of a 3 story middle of the row townhome and extinguished the same. Chief 37a was the first arriving command officer on the scene and held the command. Crews operated about 1 hour before returning to service.
