Engine Runs First Due Fire

37 Box – 27 Hampton Park Blvd* Last night, Engine Company 37 was dispatched as the first due engine to 29 Hampton Park BLVD, for smoke coming from the building. The engine arrived to find a 1 story commercial with smoke showing. The Engine crew forced the door to the dispatched address, where smoke conditions were found, but no fire. The officer of the engine determined the fire to be next door and directed the lineman out of the charlie side door. The door was forced on unit 27, where the fire was found and extinguished.
