ENGINE RUNS MORNINGSIDE TOWNHOUSE FIRE

27 Box – 3600 Blk of Community Dr* This Morning, Multiple calls came in reporting fire coming from the townhouse behind Apothecary St, in company 27’s first due. Truck 26 (District Heights) arrived first, and reported an end of the row townhouse with fire showing. 26 gave the corrected address on Community dr. Engine Company 37 as the 3rd due Engine, laid out and stretched a line to back up Engine 27 in the fire building. Companies 26, 27 & 37 worked together to make a quick knock on the fire and prevented it from spreading down the row. The engine company operated for nearly two hours before returning to service.
