ENGINE RUNS FIRST HOUSE FIRE
September 19 at 2245 hours, PSC dispatched units for the report of a house fire on box 37-05 in the 900blk of Logwood Rd. E837B responded and arrived on scene to find a one story, single-family dwelling with smoke showing from the garage that was attached to the home, the WFD was sounded. E837B with a crew of 5 stretched the 150′ 1 1/2in bumper line, through the front door and into the garage, quickly finding fire in the garage and extinguishing the same. The Engine crew opened up and checked for extension throughout the garage. Searches were completed and proved negative, no injuries were reported.
Units operated for roughly 2 hours before returning back to quarters.
